Old Town Amish Store

When Berea, Kentucky isn’t a full-day tour stop, we always try to at least stop here. Often, we’ll grab a box lunch to eat on the way. A visit to the store is a treat for the senses, especially with the smells of fresh-baked bread and slow-smoked barbecue wafting throughout. They feature many Kentucky Proud® products, including their own hand-rolled butter, a diverse selection of cheeses, and bulk foods galore. It’s a great place to pick up things like hand-made goat-milk soaps and lotions and Kentucky-ground corn meal.

If lunch here is on the schedule, you’ll be provided with a selection of box lunch choices like a petite sandwich or wrap of Cordon Bleu, Smoked Chicken Salad, turkey, or ham with sides like chips and cold salads, plus a dessert cookie and a cold drink. Typically, the box lunch will be included in your tour package pricing and we may ask you to finalize your selection a few days prior to arrival in Berea.

We always try to have some limited space on board the motor coach for you to store any perishables you purchase, although you may also want to have your purchases shipped home.
